Preparations were well underway and the much-anticipated Open Day finally arrived with a full house of 48 guests. These included visitors from far and wide and four enthusiastic juniors. After the scorching heat of the previous two weeks, it turned out to be a pleasant day though occasionally buffeted by strong winds. Many guests stayed to enjoy all five games well into the afternoon before indulging in cake and Pimms. A raffle was held in aid of Cancer Research raising a fantastic £109. A huge thank you goes to the volunteers who made this day such a success.
