The refurbishment of the sports park facilities is finally complete and to celebrate the occasion the park asked clubs to organise events. Petanque Wallingford organised a picnic followed by a money mêlée and 21 members sporting their red tops played three games on a pleasant summers afternoon. Everyone had a great time and some went back to the bar to listen to live music from a solo artist Sarah Eastwood, the first of many to try out the new stage and lighting.
