This morning we had a frost but thankfully the sun came out and we enjoyed a sunny warm day. Fourteen member signed up for the Petanque Wallingford Singles Trophy. The tournament was run using a snake format with each player playing three games during the morning. A couple of players were new to competitions and really enjoyed the matches. Maybe this will encourage more members to participate next time. Chris Hurst was the runner up with Paul Hammond taking the trophy.
