We went to play petanque at the Bear on Saturday lunchtime. No sign of Dave the Dove; we suspected he had found a girlfriend who was more interesting that us humans.
During a lull in proceedings Gerry, who is taller than the rest of us, could see over the fence where Dave had lived. And there he was - his 'human' was sitting in the hot tub (everything concealed by the water). Dave was sitting on his head. Now that would have made a funny picture!
