 | August saw us play for the final of the Select Pairs Trophy. 14 Pairs, split into 2 groups had taken place during the previous months. The Winners of group 1 were Tie-Breakers - JJ and Tony M and second were the Mac Macs - Eileen and John. Group A winners were Rookie-ish – Mark D and Chris H and second were Black Berets – Adrian and Sarah. Tie-Breakers played the Mac Macs and Tie Breakers won, Rookie-ish played Black Berets and Rookie-ish won. So the final play off was Rookie-ish vs Tie-Breakers to find the Select Pairs winners, who were Rookie-ish. (L to R Mark, Gerry Chris H) |
