When this 2nd layer is spread and rolled the top (4 to dust) layer goes on tomorrow, and that is forecast to be a really horrible day, they say very much rain. Well, fortunately the new terrain drains extremely well so the rain should help with the settling and won't result in a giant pond for the gulls.
Got to the Park in time to see work in progress. The weather is holding so far this morning, but yesterday afternoon about 3 it poured so the surrounding ground is pretty wet - not making life easy for the chaps, but they are doing a sterling job! The pictures show them working, the surrounding wetness and problems caused! And the solutions. At one point one wonders how big a fish could be supported if John and Steve had been building a fishpond.
