... and we BOP THE BUNNY. We turned up wearing our easter bonnets and had a go at bopping the bunny - throw your boule through the hoop which is about 1.5 ms above the ground, 6ms away from the circle you are standing in, and the bunny is about 1.5ms from the hoop. Knock the bunny over and you get a point, knock the flowers off the hoop, or the tail off the bunny, or miss, or go over the top of the hoop - and you may get a cheer, but no points! It's not as easy as it sounds. And the winner was JULES he consistently went through the hoop and knocked the bunny over .... Well done and I hope you enjoyed your chocolate bunny. Anne and Charlie came from WWW to join us. Great to see them. Thank you everyone for wearing a hat - Biggi had the 'best' hat (A straw confection decked with tissue paper daffodils) - Once we started playing all thoughts of pictures went by the board. And we shared tea and prizes and tea after in the Pavilion. Thanks to JA for opening up for us. We played at home on our Boulodrome on Sunday 30th March while the TEAM went to Winnersh (British Legion) where the pistes are to play in the Weekend League. We nearly froze at home! it was SO cold. However, our team had warm news - they won 5 games to 2 well done bouligans, keep it up! This is a table showing the results so far. |
