How did we do? The Pop Up Shop had items made by Cheryl and Thérèse: crochet blankets, knitted Pompom Beanies (with faux fur pompoms!), bootees for children and bigger bods, scarves and various other items for sale with proceeds going towards our shelter (so if it rains we can all huddle in their and keep dry!)
Petanque Players: Rosettes were awarded to Peter Jones for first place, to Steve Gothard for second place and Wendy H for 3rd place John Macland was awarded the Annual Melee Shield. The Pop Up Shop was a great success: we made nearly £200 in the half hour before lunch. Thank you everyone.
Oh, and by the way, if anyone bought a beanie as a gift for someone, we forgot to give you a box to put it in, so see T or C for one. We still have a few beanies, some bootees and some scarves, if you were unable to attend the lunch and want one. And if anyone wants a scarf let Cheryl know before 10th December to give her time to make it. (See the pictures below for an idea of what we have). She has purple and lime green yarn without bobbles on.
